After 29 years of marriage Porter passed away in 2017 leaving a big vacuum in her life. In addition to her parents Mrs. Nipper is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Wayne Nipper, her sisters, Mildred Stuard, Marie Comperry and Gladys Carr, and her brothers, Sunny Cavender and Mack Cavender.
